The Edgerrin James Foundation, Inc., founded in 2000, is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization created to improve the decision-making process of youth and young adults, enhancing the quality of their lives, and empowering them to make positive contributions to society through sports training and health related programs.
Our aim is to show the younger generation that they are the builders of their future. Our efforts reach youth of all ages. We primarily use sports and fitness to connect with youth, in school and on the field, by providing various activities and programs throughout the year.

Being a man of extreme humility, Edgerrin carries a strong passion for helping others to build a more successful way of life. The Edgerrin James Foundation and Charities continuously works with youth and communities through free football clinics, tutoring, and so much more. Edgerrin also never forgets about the places where he began his rise to the top. He continues his charitable efforts in numerous cities throughout the country, including where he grew up in Immokalee and Orlando and where he played college football - Miami, Florida.
Taking from football both the desire to reach the top and the discipline to realize such aspirations, Mr. James has put into place a superb business model. He firmly believes that the wheel shouldn't be recreated, but rather constantly improved upon. Using this philosophy, Mr. James continues to blaze the trail to establish the base of success.
